It's customary that when you start a new blog you write at least one post explaining what you are trying to accomplish, what to expect, yadda yadda yadda. I'll try and make this particular entry pretty short. I'm just going to write about the EMC Documentum product line here. Occasionally I might write something technical, but mostly I'll be concentrating on best practices, experiences and directions. I'll have some observations about what EMC could do better and in turn, stories about how much of an idiot I can be.
I don't have a clue how often I'll update this, so I suggest subscribing to the RSS feed. Honestly, this blog is really for me to network with other developers and users that I can't necessarily do at the EMC Developer Forum. By that I mean, it's sometimes better to have a conversation about a touchy subject (like support or other products for example) here on a blog than bog down a company forum with flame posts. Heck, it'd be more fun to do that here.
I don't expect to change the world or anything doing this. If you get something out of this, great. Want to contribute with a comment or two? Even better. Tell me I'm wrong. I often am. Otherwise, feel free to peruse the thoughts and comments of a total stranger, and by so doing, probably helping some poor sociology student grad student at a faraway university write a research paper on behavioral patterns on blog sites.
